The surgery will be closed bank holidays over the festive period but there will be no change to our opening and closing times on the days we are open.

Extended Hours

From September 2009 the practice has been offering extended hours for GP & Nurse appointments from 6:30 until 7pm .  This was one of the requests from our patients following the recent patient questionnaire survey.

We hope that this has improved the flexibility of our appointments and enabled patients with less flexibility to be able to be seen at a time that suits them.

When We Are Closed

In the event that you need medical assistance outside surgery hours, please contact the surgery and you will be transferred directly to BARDOC our out of hours service provider.

NHS Direct

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS Direct (0845 4647) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
